50 in 52 Journey interview of Jessy Olson. Most of us take where our food comes from for granted. As an architectural student, Jessy was introduced to the challenges and problems of low income housing, and although the huge need was something that interested her it was when she saw with her own eyes the problems with farm worker housing that she truly became engaged. Watch this video of a woman who has taken the not so traditional path of someone with an Architect's degree and is now working to help bring farm workers housing that is much more than a shelter, but a real community in which they can better their lives. Moving her specific community, the community around her, her state, and ultimately this country forward.
