50 in 52 Journey interview of Sandra Ellard. As part of a program in the state created 20 years ago to decrease the number of premature births and low weight babies Sandra works with prenatal and babies up to a year old. With West Virginias diverse and isolated population it takes a special person to connect with mothers who are by nature wary and skeptical. Watch this video of a woman who goes above and beyond her normal job duties to help the people in the community she serves.
