Unlike most 'resort' or 'seaside' towns that rely on tourism, Ocean City has turned itself around and is no longer a "seasonal' place to visit. Harnessing the power of cooperation instead of competition, the businesses banded together with the chamber and other organizations and have developed programs and events year round. Employers can now keep people employed even during the so called "off season".
