JOURNEY CO-PILOTS
In addition to Ms. Michaelson, 50 in 52 Journey's Board of Directors is made up of the following diverse group of people who support this project and its mission.
Chelsea Acosta 
Chelsea Acosta is from Denver, Colorado. Born in 1986, a graduate of Cornell University, she is currently living and working in New York City as a paralegal.
"The Journey approaches a subject in which I am hugely interested. Inspired by the energy and passion of the Journey, I buckled my seat-belt in anticipation of creatively confronting obstacles to help in 2009."
Katherine Blair 
With a professional background in nonprofit programs, marketing, and public policy, Katherine is a perfect fit for the Journey team. Katherine has lived in Denver on-and-off for the past twelve years, and has worked locally for El Pomar Foundation, the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, and the Colorado Coalition for the Medically Underserved. She originally met Dafna at a White House Project seminar in 2007, and is proud to serve as a Co-Pilot on this project. Katherine is currently a full-time law student at the University of Denver. In addition to her work with the Journey, Katherine serves on the Board of Directors of the Gordian Fund and on the Council of Lafayette Women. She also sings with the renowned Denver-based choir Kantorei.
Faye Diamond 
As a consultant, Faye blends her legal, organizational and political skills, working with congressional and legislative candidates, and membership and non-profit associations. After graduating from college, she began her professional career in the Washington, D.C. offices of the National Women’s Political Caucus. Upon her return to Colorado, Faye went to work for Governor Dick Lamm, first on his 1982 re-election campaign and then on his legislative staff. Faye then managed two state legislative races and thereafter worked on various federal, local and referenda campaigns. As UniServ Director for the Colorado Education Association, she served as a teacher advocate, assisting local associations in collaborative bargaining, membership recruitment and political activities.
Faye has been active in Democratic Party politics, serving as Finance Director for the House Democratic Majority Fund and as Executive Director for the Colorado Democratic Party. She is the Secretary of the International Association of Political Consultants.
Faye holds a Juris Doctor from the University Of Denver College Of Law.
Don Jacobson 
After receiving formal training in mediation and negotiation in 1995, Don began to focus his activities on alternate forms of dispute resolution, particularly mediation. His professional background includes more than 30 years of experience as a litigator in civil trials.
During a 2000-2001 sabbatical in Israel, Don was able to observe international conflict resolution activities and to participate in the preparation of international business contracts, including dispute resolution provisions.
Don received his Bachelor of Arts degree in government from the University of Texas in 1970 and his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1975. His formal post-graduate training includes the Harvard Negotiation Project at the Harvard Law School. He has taught at the University of Denver College of Law both in the academic and the internship programs. He is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, and serves on the Professionalism Council of both. He has been a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Michael Jenet 
Michael Jenet brings over sixteen (16) years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) field to The Journey.
As an eight year Veteran in the United States Air Force, Michael began his IT career by implementing the first computer network for a USAF Dental Lab at Barksdale Air Force Base in the Air Force’s largest Area Dental Lab.
Following his service in the Air Force, he built an IT Department from the ground up for Innovative Products and Peripherals Corporation (IPPC) before they were bought by Peak Technologies, where Michael served as the Western Region IT Manager.
Michael then spent eleven (11) years with KUSA-TV/KTVD-TV, Channel 9 and My20 in Denver Colorado as the Assistant Director Technology & Operations of one of the top rated NBC-affiliate television stations in the country.
He is currently the Chief Technology Officer for Signal Behavioral Health Network, a non-profit administrative services company in Denver, Colorado working in the Substance Abuse arena.
Michael also works in the community when time permits. He has volunteered with Jr. Achievement to teach the “Careers With a Purpose” course to high school students, worked three years in a row as a volunteer for the Denver Health Gala to help fundraising for Denver’s Largest Public Hospital, and is proud to be a part of the 50 in 52 Journey co-pilot team.
Michael shares his life with his 14 year old son Ryan, 1 year old puppy Lancelot, and 16 or so tropical fish.
Adam Schrager 
Adam Schrager covers politics for KUSA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Denver, Colorado. In more than 15 years in the business, he has won numerous broadcast journalism accolades, including more than a dozen Emmy awards. He teaches an introductory class on broadcast journalism at the University of Denver and has conducted dozens of seminars on the impact of the media on politics. He is also a regular contributor to 5280 magazine and has freelanced articles for many publications around the country. Schrager has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University where he won the Harrington Award, the Medill School of Journalism's highest honor. He began his career in 1991 with CBS News in London, then moved back to the United States. After working in various capacities for TV stations in Lacrosse, Madison, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he moved to Denver in 1999. Schrager lives in the Denver metro area with his wife, Cathy. They will soon be expanding their family to include two daughters
